Model United Nations

MUN is a simulation education activity focusing on communications, globalization and multilateral diplomacy. In MUN, students take on roles as foreign diplomats and participate in a simulated session of an intergovernmental organization. Participants research a country, investigate international issues, consult, and develop solutions to world problems. During a simulation, they employ a variety of communications and critical thinking skills to defend and advance the policies of their country.

Second meeting of the spring semester

We will be having our second Model United Nations training meeting after school tomorrow (Wednesday in the library from 3:30 to 4:30pm.) Students: be ON TIME and READY TO GO! Tell all of your Model United Nations friends about this email. Mr. Bedevian must leave after lunch tomorrow so he will not be with you in the library. However,he will need one or two students to visit his office at the end of period 6 to pick up the MUN boxes filled with handbooks, gavel, and the flag. When the meeting is over at 4:30pm, leave the boxes in the library and he will pick them up the next morning.
